Our family of four had a wonderful time in Sayulita and our abode, La Joyita, played a big role in our enjoyment of the area. My wife and I fantasize building a home in some tropical land and La Joyita is our inspirational model. The owners were most accommodating and helpful with all aspects of La Joyita.
La Joyita is a more than just a little piece of paradise. It is rest and action and fun; it is located in the Mexican village of Sayulita with no big hotels or cruise ships; it is warm sunshine with warm, safe Pacific Ocean beaches for swimming and surfing; it is salsa lessons and fine food; it is healthy outdoor living at its finest.
We’ve stayed in La Joyita a number of times over the last few years. We settle into a routine that includes the beach, walking, shopping, eating, music, and reading. We’ve participated in weddings, holiday feasts, and World Series viewing in the local bistro. We cherish the memories, and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do.
My husband and I stayed at La Joyita for a week in early November. It was a heavenly experience! It is a quiet, jungle-like setting, high up on a hill overlooking the ocean. Every day, we sat on the open veranda, reading, listening to music, and watching the butterflies float. It was profoundly relaxing and beautiful. We walked into town every morning on the beach for breakfast, and the view each way was breathtaking. I cannot recommend highly enough the experience of Sayulita, and the lovely La Joyita. It is a treasure of a house.
La Joyita is blissful. We travelled from Australia to spend three amazing weeks in paradise.
The location is perfect - peaceful, great views and the gentle sound of the ocean to lull you into siesta. If you want to forget about the world for a while this is the perfect place to do it!
